Mazzoco

This coffee comes from Rodrigo Mazzoco’s small family farm in Vargem Alta, a cool, mountainous region of Espírito Santo, Brazil. Rodrigo grew up around coffee and has gradually shifted the farm towards smaller, carefully controlled specialty lots, with much of the work done by hand.

Mazzoco is part of the La Cabra × Acervo collaboration, connecting La Cabra with Acervo’s network of small Brazilian producers. Together, they tasted through the harvest looking for distinctive lots, and this Red Catuaí stood out for its fresh, structured character.

The cherries are hand-picked at full ripeness and honey processed, then slowly dried under cover on raised beds. Expect a floral and rich cup with notes of papaya, peach in syrup and sugarcane molasses.

All La Cabra coffees are roasted for both filter and espresso.
