Meridiano

This coffee is now in our rescue beans category - these beans are 3 months from the roast date, which is when most roasters recommend consuming them. However, they are still well within their best-before date and remain full of character and perfectly brewable.

Note from the roastery: Our first Ecuadorian sourcing venture, a beautiful washed Typica Mejorado from Mario Hervas and his farm Finca El Meridiano, located at 1510 to 1600 masl in a quiet and remote area at the western foothills of the Andes near Quito. Typica Mejorado represents 95 percent of Meridiano's production and exemplifies a clean, sweet and elegant profile.

The cup shows big notes of stone fruit like peach, a mango sweetness and a green tea floral elegance on the mouthfeel and finish. Works beautifully on filter and as a clean bright espresso.
