Corazón de Jesús

Corazón de Jesús is a Costa Rican favourite, where Johnny and his son Álvaro process coffee from their farms. This particular lot comes from Los Toños, a farm located at 1,500–1,700 metres above sea level, between Costa Rica’s two highest peaks. Cool mountain air and volcanic soils create ideal conditions for growing high-quality coffee.

When the family took over the farm, they replaced old, low-yielding coffee plants with new varieties, including Milenio, an F1 hybrid from CATIE that produced fruit within just a year and went on to take third place in a competition. Today, they carefully select varieties suited to the farm’s different microclimates.

This lot features the Java variety, with notes of dried cranberries, a mix of red and black currants, and a sweet finish. A coffee that brings a little taste of this beautiful farm to your cup!
