This coffee is now in our rescue beans category - these beans are 3 months from the roast date, which is when most roasters recommend consuming them. However, they are still well within their best-before date and remain full of character and perfectly brewable.

Note form the roastery: The Asociacion Agroartesanal de Caficultores Rio Intag (AACRI) is a community-led cooperative in northern Ecuador's Intag Valley, founded in 1998 by 18 families and now encompassing around 150 to 215 local smallholder producers. AACRI cultivates shade-grown Arabica between 1200 and 1900 masl using agroforestry and organic methods that protect native cloud forest ecosystems.

This coffee offers pleasant acidity, balanced body and a fragrant aroma, with flavours of red fruits, citrus, vanilla and brown sugar sweetness.

All NOSTOS coffees are roasted for both filter and espresso.
